What is its status?
The app is with testers through Apple's TestFlight. It is not on the App Store and has not been submitted to App Review. We have not announced a release date and will not name one until Apple has approved the app. You can join the waitlist by email and we will write to you once, when it is available.
How is it designed for parents?
Parents come first in the design. There are no ads, no account and nothing to sell to a child. The app works offline, and the only network use is Apple's purchase system. Settings, progress, purchases and an optional daily play-time limit sit behind a 6-digit PIN that the parent chooses. The parents page lists everything a parent can see and control.
What do we collect?
Nothing. There is no analytics and no third-party code, and progress stays on the device. Our privacy policy and terms of use are drafts that require legal review, so we make no claim of compliance with any law.
How are the guides written?
The guides are written by the Playlearnia team, who also make the app. We say so on each guide, we say what the app does and does not do, and we link the sources for numbers and health or privacy claims. We do not make health or developmental promises. Each guide shows the date it was last updated.
How can you contact us?
